O Video Music Awards 2025, tradicional premiação da MTV, reuniu neste domingo (7) alguns dos maiores nomes da música internacional em uma noite de celebração.
Lady Gaga foi a grande vencedora, conquistando quatro troféus, incluindo o de Artista do Ano, um dos mais importantes da cerimônia, além de Melhor Direção, Melhor Direção de Arte e Melhor Colaboração.
Ariana Grande levou o prêmio mais aguardado da noite, o de Vídeo do Ano, com Brighter Days Ahead, e ainda venceu nas categorias Melhor Pop e Melhor Vídeo Longo.
Outros destaques ficaram para Sabrina Carpenter, com três vitórias, e para Doechii e Tate McRae, que garantiram dois prêmios cada.
Entre as homenagens, Ricky Martin foi reconhecido como Ícone Latino e emocionou o público com uma apresentação especial. Já o prestigiado Video Vanguard Award será entregue a Mariah Carey, em celebração à sua trajetória e impacto na indústria musical.
